Women's History Day

The Time Machine visited Sunnyside again this year and brought some amazing women from history. We were lucky enough to have Margaret Sanger (Karen Hery), Indira Ghandi (Tave Drake), and Babe Didrikson (our beloved PE teacher, Dian) come speak to us in our classroom. I encourage you to have discussions at home about how these phenomenal women changed the course of history. Have a wonderful weekend! -Sarah

Student-Led Conferences

It was so wonderful to see all of you yesterday! Students, you did an amazing job sharing your work with your parents and navigating them through some of what we have learned this year. Parents, thank you for being such great listeners and asking such wonderful questions. The classroom definitely felt like a very comfortable and supportive environment last night. I tried to stay in the background, but I just want to comment on what an amazing class we have. Every student contributes to our class in unique and magnificent ways. The students make it a truly great place to learn.
