Next week is Earth Week at school. The fifth grade will be working on Sunnyside’s application for premier status as a an Oregon Green School. Students will be working in sustainability teams to assess the school’s waste production, consumption of materials/resources, energy and water usage, and recycling efforts. After a large school waste audit, the students will be submitting the application with a waste reduction plan they will be helping to implement.
